Singapore is not a place for dieting, especially if your uncle hosts dinner every night.
Some of the things I enjoyed were soft-shell crab at Tonkichi

IMG_1187

McDonald’s seaweed fries!!!

Tori-Q chicken skin

IMG_1254

Barbecued chicken wings (I know right, chicken na naman)

IMG_1269

Deep-fried battered white bait (yum!!!)

IMG_1291

OMG!!!! Best thing ever: Grilled crab claw on a bed of egg white scrambled in truffle oil at Imperial Treasure

IMG_1303

Bonchon chicken (yup! chicken na naman)

Fried chicken, aw yeah

I love how food is served on waxed kraft paper here (I wish I could buy it)

IMG_1321

Ana ate the cutest cup of frozen yogurt topped with with Honey Stars and flower-shaped marshmallows

IMG_1346

Finally, real chicken rice from Kampong Chicken House

IMG_1354

Oh yes, chicken na naman

IMG_1358

Perfect with an iced glass of The Forbidden Drink.
On the upside, I see that Coke doesn’t have HFCS here. So yay!

Regarding Coke’s HFCS ingredient. Yes everyone should be wary. Since coke said sugar was getting too expensive here, they decided to change it. If you see the ingredient ” sugar/High fructose corn syrup” then you know there’s no sugar at all. And the taste is very different too. I love coke… but HFCS is just going to kill us.

Waxed kraft paper…it was the material used to cover books and notebooks in my early grade school years…it was even printed with our school logo.

I know this is out of topic, hehe…gusto k lng magkwento, its true naia personel do ask personal and make nakakainis na comment, i was paying for my tax and when they saw i was flying singapore airline, sosyal daw ako..i just smiled and said promo lang yan sir. Then he was silent na then tiningnan din ng iba…And kulang tlga sila sa professionalism dito sa waiting area nagsisipag lagay ng make up at para silang nasa palengke…un lang lumipat na ako ng upuan kasi ingay nila

Are the chickens in SG ‘genetically’ fatter than here in the Phils? Kasi the Bonchon chicken wings look a lot  bigger there 😛
