TV5 has won the bid to exclusively air the upcoming wedding of Prince William of Wales and Catherine Elizabeth Middleton in the Philippines.
TV5 news anchor Cheryl Cosim tweeted on April 8, “Mga Kapatid ang TV5 ang EXCLUSIVE PARTNER ng ITN (International Television Network). Ang Royal Wedding channel sa UK!”
The Royal Wedding will be held on April 29 at Westminster Abbey, followed by a procession along London’s famous landmarks. The reception which will be at the Buckingham Palace to be hosted by Queen Elizabeth II.
News5 will be sending its news team to London for the live coverage.
