Things we learned from the Royal Wedding
Posted on

and if you’ll be the news caster for the wedding, dapat alamin mo ang difference between Duke and Dutch! I think it was Karen Davila (or whoever it was newcasting from England) na nagsabing Dutch and Duchess of Cambridge. Major news fail!

Actually, that hat is very Philip Treacy. I can’t think of any other milliner who would dare to create something as crazy as that. A lot of his hats are very “out there”. Sara Jessica Parker’s Sex and the City London premiere hat comes to mind.

Di kailangang naghuhumiyaw ang boobang ng bride and maid of honor.

Di kailangang naka-spaghetti straps ang flower girls.

I love how there was just one adult bridesmaid and the rest were children. And no large tribe of sponsors with overs prayed helmet hair.

the female guests looked so ‘simple’ in their formal attire, yung iba naka plain blazer and shift dress lang. even the queen and the bride’s mother looked quite simply dressed and not at all over-the-top. i liked it, though. di pala kailangan naka frou-frou gown by some top designer with matching borloloy and heavy beading plus pabonggahan sa bling-bling. Royal Wedding: Pabonggahan ng hats. Pinoy Wedding: Pabonggahan ng gowns. Where the guests are more bongga than the bride and groom. Walang gustong pakabog. LOL!
