The NORDLYS/P-NOiSE in 1st Manila Contemporary Dance Edition

To commemorate 70 years of Danish-Filipino relations, a Nordic assemblage of contemporary dancers of high magnitude will perform in Manila this December 15-18, 2016.
NORDLYS/P-NOiSE Contemporary Dance Edition will bring together Nordic and Filipino artists in an interaction of space, performance and audience in a unique cultural experience.
NORDLYS (Northern Light) is a collective of artists from Denmark, Sweden Norway, and Finland. Their walking performances take the audience with them in an exploration of bodily, emotional and spatial relationships.

P-NOiSE serves as a platform for challenging yet-to-be known Filipino and Nordic artists to showcase and express their artistry and vision.
Art performances and a debate by artists Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen and Tanelli Törmä will also be held.
This event is made possible through the support of Statens Kunstfond, Kulturkontakt Nord and Nordiska kulturfonden.

Debate, art performances by Antoinette Helbing, Tanelli Törmä and Russ Ligtas, and film screening featuring the works of Karolin Kent (SE), Sarah Armstrong (DK) and Baijie Curdt-Christiansen (DK) (“Nordur”), and Ali Abbasi, Gry Raaby and Marie-Louise Stentebjerg (“Locomotion”), and art works by Nikolaj Kleist Burkal (“Movements Measured”).
