The outside world

Today was the laziest day.
Since I no longer need a nurse and am all alone, I allowed myself to stay home and sleep for 12 hours.
I can now shower and change clothes on my own, though it takes me 30 minutes to put on a T-shirt (kidding).
I’m still swollen, bruised and itchy—so hot compress is my best friend.
Meet my water bottle from Tokyo, somewhere. Siempre, chica pa din 🙂

Luckily I have people from the outside world reaching out to me.
Abet sent a ton of my favorite banana chips in a big LBC box (the woman believes in wholesale, what can I say??).

No, they’re really good. Jeroen and I thank you. (Available at Robinson’s Supermarket)

My Twitter friend found these buy 1-take 1 Puffs tissue in the mall for Php 150.
I’m going to hoard them on July 1st when I am allowed to shop (so I can’t tell you where).

Puffs Tissue

Alexei saw a Dr. Kwek-Kwek stall at Festival Mall. (I don’t do kwek-kwek.)

Dr. Kwek-kwek

Shay took these pictures in Japan—Hello Kitty creator Yuko Yamaguchi just made a Lady Gaga doll 🙁

Lady Gaga and Yuko Yamaguchi

Jeroen saw these at SM Hypermart—Prima Taste mixes, including what is probably the best homemade Hainanese Chicken Rice mix out there. No need to hoard in Singapore—yay!!
Too bad they didn’t have Rendang, which is Jeroen and Marky’s favorite.

Prima mixes

This I have to see. Sonny Suñga had lunch at the first Max’s restaurant designed by Budji Layug, in the Scout area apparently.
I want to go!! Must get well!

Max’s restaurant in scout (actually all of the restos) weren’t designed by Budji Layug FYI.

Cecile, can I tell you about arnica. Most of the girls in my pole and aerial studio rub it on their bruises and it makes it go away. I’ve always had a tube dahil sa peer pressure but I was always too lazy to use it. I talked to a plastic surgeon at work recently, and lately he’s been telling his patients use it post-op on their faces after nose jobs and the like and he said ang ganda ng results. Eh recently I burned my hand big time. It’s been slow healing for 2 weeks, so I put arnica… Read more »
