The Tenant shop at Solace Hotel in Makati City isn’t just a surf shop. It was designed as a place where people can hang out and be creative, have coffee, and shop.
The café is at the ground floor where guests can enjoy premium quality coffee, teas, juices, beers, baked goods, and sandwiches.
But the main reason to visit Tenant is the shop on the second floor which stocks an assortment of men’s apparel and accessories from U.S. and Japanese brands such as Saturdays Surf, Hill-Side, Kapital, Engineered, Mollusk, Converse, and Quality Peoples, which is designed by Tenant co-founder John Esguerra.
There’s a variety of lightweight shirts, shorts, sweaters, windbreakers, shoes, totes, books, and even beanies. Mandala Surfboards is also making its Manila retail debut at Tenant.
Prices start at Php 2,000 plus for T-shirts and surfboards range from Php 37,000 plus.
“We’re bringing our love of all things art, design, beach, and sun to Manila,” said Tenant co-founder Anton Lopez, who owns and runs ADCA Creative Studio.
For now, it’s all menswear but women’s clothing is something the owners can start carrying in the future. (Hey, why not Vivienne Ramsey clothes?)
Tenant is open daily from 11 AM-8PM at at the ground floor, Solace Hotel, 9369 Kamagong Street, Makati City.
