If you know me well, you’d know that I never leave home without my two Samsung phones.
But there are times when I don’t want to keep watching my phone, such as when I’m in a meeting or social event, or doing serious shopping abroad.
That’s when the Samsung Gear S2 comes in handy. Just pair it with your Samsung smartphone and wear it on your wrist. Even if your phone is in your bag, you won’t get paranoid that you’re missing an important call or message from your family or contacts.
I recently joined Samsung when they launched their new smartwatch along with members of the media, influencers, celebrities and guests at the SM Mall of Asia.
It was a full house indeed at the tent set up by the mall’s globe rotunda.

After the program we were led to the globe rotunda to watch a giant LED presentation demonstrating the features of Samsung Gear S2.
Then Volkswagen cars transported guests to the main mall where they opened the Samsung Galaxy Studio. Here we were able to see Samsung’s latest gadgets in one space.

Guests were also given a preview of Gear S2’s technology currently in development. On display was a Limited Edition Volkswagen Beetle 1.4L Turbo connected to the Gear S2. Through a third-party app, users were able to lock and unlock the vehicle from his or her Gear S2. (Note that this is not a Volkswagen feature created by a third party developer and demonstrated only for the Samsung event.)
