NAIA: Don’t bug stars arriving in airports
Posted on

Last Easter Sunday, I was on a Cathay Pacific plane with Angel Locsin and Phil Younghusband from HK-MNL.
When we stepped out of the plane, I was shocked to see NAIA personnel with their phones up and ready to shoot pictures or footage of the stars walking out of the tube.
It felt unprofessional more than anything. For the stars, it may be highly annoying.
Watch what happens to stars when they arrive in airports.
Justin Timberlake, deadma lang.

Now watch what happens when an airport staff tries to shove a CD to Justin Bieber on the tube. Take note that Bieber was already sick when he arrived at NAIA.

Description reads:
Arrogant kid.
My father (in neon green vest) tried to get an autograph from Justin Bieber for my sister. But take a look on what he did. He tapped my father’s hand and the CD fell on the floor. Nobody from his crew helped him. Not even an apology from Justin Bieber himself.
Where are your manners now kiddo? i know you’re sick but you could’ve at least said sorry you are not signing anything.
How could you do that to my father?

I don’t think that’s arrogant. I think that’s just annoying.
NAIA, please brief your staff not to bug stars coming in and out of planes. That’s so unprofessional and jejemonic (no offence to jejemons).
He should thank his lucky stars it wasn’t Bjork he encountered.

True. People who are on duty should be professional. Curious lang ako. What about the plane crew who have their pictures taken with Pacman on the plane? Are they also being unprofessional by doing that? People who want their picture taken with celebrities or would like to get their autograph should ask permission from them. Also, they shouldn’t always expect a positive response from them.
