Manila F.A.M.E. International, one of the longest running trade shows for home and fashion lifestyle products in the Asia Pacific, opens its doors from 16 to 19 April 2011 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
Now on its 53rd edition, Manila F.A.M.E. International has evolved into more than just an exhibition for home and fashion lifestyle products.
It also provides buyers and visitors a one-stop venue in sourcing products made by Filipino craftsmen, who now enjoy the reputation of being among the best artisans in the world.
The show’s curator, Maja Olivares-Co, found inspiration in our country’s rich resource of traditional raw materials in creating the show’s concept – TM/New Directions.
TM/New Directions focuses on the country’s traditional raw materials – fiber, shell and wood – that are widely used in the Philippine handicraft industry. These iconic materials, creatively transformed into impressive home and lifestyle concepts, are displayed in two settings, the Heritage Hall and Ideas Wall, the show’s centerpiece.
Manila F.A.M.E. offers a wide selection for home interiors featuring furniture and home furnishings, (home decorations, home accent and décor), holiday décor, gifts, arts and crafts, and fashion complements (costume jewelry, fine jewelry, footwear and leathergoods).
Manila F.A.M.E. International, the country’s trade show for top-notch artistry and craftsmanship, continues to become a popular destination for best designs in home and fashion lifestyle products in Asia.
It remains one of the favorite sourcing destinations of famous brands such as Pier 1 Imports, Crate and Barrel, Neiman Marcus, Ballard Designs, Kalalou, Roost, Lawrence of La Brea, Hermon & Hermon, Papaya, Samaco, Lane Crawford, Li & Fung, El Corte Ingles, Hollander, Konert, Impressionen, Asplund, Etoile Kaito, itokin, Euro Diwan, BML, Kontekas, DK Home, Haans Lifestyle, and Briefing Collection.
Manila F.A.M.E. International is one of the longest trade shows for lifestyle products in Asia Pacific and the only accredited event in the Philippines by Union des Foires Internationales (UFI), a Paris-based association of trade fair organizers.
