Manila’s artsy hipster crowd flocked to The Fort’s hip URBN Bar to attend Lee’s Denim DIY Craftsmanship Workshop, featuring celebrities invited to showcase their personal style and passion for denim.

Also present were pro formula racers Michelle Bumgarner and Mark Bumgarner and designer Jerome Lorico who created customized denim pieces using bottles of paints, threads, needles, studs, and other sewing supplies, while DJ duo Deuce Manila spun upbeat music. You can imagine one hot mess!
Host KC Montero went around the workstations, which also had actor Ruru Madrid and showbiz reporter Nelson Canlas getting their hands dirty.

Held in celebration of Lee’s landmark 125th anniversary, the activity kicked off Lee’s Style Army Competition—whose entries will be displayed in a Lee Denim Exhibit during Philippine Fashion Week this October 25, 2013, 6 PM at the Atrium, SM Mall of Asia.
