Love green tea?
Leading Japanese chocolate maker Royce’ brings back limited edition green tea (maccha) chocolates to Manila.
Maccha is the product of a meticulous tea-making process which involves growing tea plants in the shade, then leaves are stone-ground into a fine powder.
More than just beverage, green tea has been the centerpiece of traditional Japanese tea ceremonies since at least the 16th century.
This July to September, Royce’ once again offers the Green Tea Collection, including Nama Chocolate Maccha, a soft confection made from fine chocolate and fresh cream, covered in powdered green tea.
