It’s Oscar season once again!
If you’re an HBO subscriber, you can watch the 89th Academy Awards direct from Hollywood, along with red carpet exclusives and backstage interviews on the network’s website, social platforms, TV screens and mobile devices.
It all starts on January 24th with the announcement of nominations at 9:18 PM.
Join Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs and nominated Academy members like Jennifer Hudson, Brie Larson, Emmanuel Lubezki, Jason Reitman and Ken Watanabe as they reveal the 24 Oscar® award categories.

On February 27th, The 89th Academy Awards will broadcast live across Asia on HBO starting with the Oscars® Red Carpet ‘Live’ from 8 AM, followed by the 89th Oscars® at 9.30 AM.
Both programs will encore that same night on HBO at 7 PM and 8 PM respectively.
Held at the Dolby Theatre® at Hollywood & Highland Center® in Hollywood, the 89th Oscars will be hosted by the late-night talk show host, producer and comedian Jimmy Kimmel. This will be Jimmy Kimmel’s first time hosting the Academy Awards.
