Celebrate One Day Without Shoes with TOMS at SM Aura’s Skypark
Posted on

In 2006, American traveler Blake Mycoskie befriended children in a village in Argentina and found that they had no shoes to protect their feet.
Wanting to help, he created TOMS, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need.

This year, the event hits even closer to home as filmmaker Joy Aquino’s documentary entitled As We Walk, will be screened for the first time.
TOMS Philippines encourages everyone to take off their shoes and help spark the conversation.
For one day, an hour, or even just ten minutes, TOMS encourages everyone to take off their shoes to put themselves in the place of children who have none.
