Call for entries: Project Runway Season 3

Project Runway Philippines Season 3 is now searching for the next big Filipino fashion designer.
Set to premiere on ETC in February 2012, model Tweetie de Leon-Gonzales takes over as host for the new season.
Joining her are returning judges, designer Rajo Laurel and top model Apples Aberin, and designer/mentor Jojie Lloren, faculty head of the Asian Institute of Fashion.

Awaiting the winner of Project Runway Philippines are a 10-page fashion spread in Mega magazine, Php 500,000 in cash, a start-up business package of 10 sewing machines, a short-term fashion design course at a top European fashion school, a two-month apprenticeship with Asian Institute of Fashion’s top industry professionals, and a full scholarship for a 4-year AB Fashion Design program at the Asian Institute of Fashion at iACADEMY.

Auditions for Project Runway Philippines Season 3 begins this month at:
• Pryce Plaza Hotel, Carmen Hill, Cagayan De Oro City from August 20-21, 2011
• Marco Polo Hotel, Lahug, Cebu from August 27-28, 2011
• Hotel Supreme, Magsaysay Avenue, Baguio City from Sept. 3-4, 2011
• Jungle Gym, Kamagong Street, Makati City from Sept. 6-7, 2100

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, Filipino citizens, and bring with their portfolio including three completed outfits of his/her own design.

I prefer Apples to host Project Runway rather than Tweetie. I hope she doesn’t try hard to be a Heidi Klum. So Chuvaness, will we see you in season 3 of Project Runway?

Ms. C, last question na.. I can’t find sewing machines in malls. Where can I find one and what brand do you suggest? Sorry if I keep bugging you with such questions. I want an expert’s advice.
