Happy Skin launches beauty care for Filipina skin
Posted on

Happy Skin is the newest venture of beauty partners Jacqe Yuengtian-Gutierrez (L) and Rissa Mananquil-Trillo.
During their recent launch at Bizu, Rissa and Jacqe explained how the brand was created from scratch, with key products formulated and made in Japan.

To make the event even more fun, guests got to try the products from their own vanity kit that were filled with Happy Skin items, specifically personalized to match their skin tones.

“We started Happy Skin because we’re firm believers in good skincare, and we don’t like compromising our skin because of the makeup we use,” says founder Jacqe. Co-founder Rissa echoes the same: “Truly good makeup should be your ally—not your enemy—in making you look and feel more beautiful.”

As such, all Happy Skin products are “infused with special skincare ingredients, such as Japanese tea leaf, cherry blossom, hyaluronic acid, and Argan oil, to name a few,” explains Jacqe. “All our key products are sourced and made in Japan because we recognize the importance of skincare in this beauty capital.”

Happy Skin is currently available at select Plains & Prints boutiques but will be available in bigger beauty stores very soon.

Not only does Jacqe and Rissa have the same color dress as their products, they also have dimples on the same part of their face. So cute and pretty. Lucy can wear a sack and she’d still be beautiful.

FYI, wrong accent on the french word crème. 😉 It should be the same accent as in Hermès.

So many brand messages, so little time.

Cute packaging despite looking Benefit-ish. 🙂

  • I thought this is the local version of Benefit….its similar packaging and product name can make anyone think it’s Benefit. 🙂
