Jeroen bought the wrong goggles

It’s a blessing that your children do not see you the way others do, or even the way you see yourself.
For them, I can wear a pink dress with yellow shoes. They associate me with flowers and butterflies and pink and purple rooms. They leave me notes and flowers.

Christian gave me a flower

They do not see a person weighed down by fears, phobias, pains, and constant battles with myself and the outside world. For no matter how others see me, there will always be the boys at home who think I am an angel and a loving mom.

    Couldn’t agree more with your post, I really feel like you tailor made this post for me. Before my Siopao (that’s what we call my baby because she was born at 9.7 pounds sooooooo white with super big cheeks, half Chinese and half tisay) I was such a party girl and always traveling didn’t have a care in the world. But after I held my Siopao for the very first time I knew I was done for. I have never left her side since then. She has a Yaya but I’m still the one to bathe her, change her diapers, feed her, burp her. Basically the Yaya is obsolete, I should really fire her a**. Couldn’t even find it in my heart to leave her for a few hours to go to the parlor for a mani and pedi. I am a Mommy of a 4 month old baby girl. And my birthday is also April 30. Not techy, but have been following and been a fan of your blog for years. And I think You rock! More power to you and your blog!
