This Lent I decided to give up meat, except for Sundays as the priest said on Ash Wednesday that Sundays are exempt from whatever sacrifice you decide to do this Lent.
Isn’t that a great thing? I wish I had known this before, I could have lasted better two years ago. Last year I didn’t shop for the whole duration of Lent and was actually able to stick to it.
