Most Filipinos don’t know how to tie a scarf, given that we don’t have winters here.
I sure didn’t. It was my sister-in-law who taught me the importance of scarves as a great heating element during one winter in Utrecht, The Netherlands in 2000.
It took me a while to figure out how to tie one fashionably.
Now when I look at Instagram photos of Filipinos posting winter travels, I can’t help but check who knows how to wear a scarf and who looks fobby (sorry!!!).
Luckily, Burberry recently released a series of videos of how to tie a scarf fashionably.
Here are some of my favorites:
1) The Braid
2) The Side Bow
3) Tuxedo Fold
4) Waterfall Knot
5) The Girl’s Cravat
6) The Twist Knot
