Carine Roitfeld vs. Marilyn Monroe for M.A.C

This October, M.A.C launches two new collections inspired by legendary Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe and French editor and stylist Carine Roitfeld.

Carine Roitfeld, known for her smoky eyes, collaborates with M.A.C to recreate her aesthetic.
The Full Face Kit contains four eye shadows and a Cremeblend blush, eye brows in brunette, Kohl powder eye pencil, Fluidine, 49 lash and two mascaras.
Tropical Mist lipstic, face and body foundation, Mineralize concealer, nail lacquers and brushes create the perfect backdrop for dramatic eyes.

    I bought all the Marilyn Monroe lipsticks (really gorgeous for medium skintones like ours!!!!), I also got the Beauty Powder and it gives a really, really gorgeous glow when applied.

    I sadly skipped the Carine Rotfield collection – the quality of the eyeshadows were a bit meh, and I didnt like the face powder/eyeshadow in one palette deal.  I already own/use MAC’s Face & Body foundation though – and its perfect for warm, humid weather. :-)

    I think the Carine Roitfeld collection is pretty wearable with its brown palette. 
    However, I fell in love with Karl Lagerfeld’s Mon Shu Girl collection this season. So, I’ll skip on that one.

     —I mean yung Marilyn lipsticks ang sold out. Carine’s collection is not selling as well sa mga stores dito.

    Uy nakita ko ‘yung Marilyn Monroe collection sa Today Show with Kathy and Hoda last weekend. So this is how it looks like. Nice. Kathy commented how silky soft the face powder is.
